Seriously don’t rent this.

I Netflixed it, well the first 10 minutes of it, and it was nothing but pure shite.

Its a good think this was streaming otherwise I would have been pissed that I’d waited 2 days for it to come in the mail.

Other than that, I’ve challenged myself to see all the movies on this list, except Space Buddies. I’d seen Idiocracy and Sunshine before reading this list and Sunshine remains as one of my favorite movies. I liked Primer however I didn’t understand it until I saw the XKCD comic of it.

Just so you know… Ow, My Balls! is here… it’s first incarnation is called “It Only Hurts When I Laugh”. 30 minutes of skateboarders falling split-legged on railings, in-line skaters falling split-legged on pipes, people jumping from post to post falling split-legged… well you get it.

Oh. And sometimes a baby jumps on it’s daddy’s nads.

Just sayin’… Idiocracy is a foretelling… a warning. Sterilize everyone.

Chris Rock doesn’t really play a “Chris Rock” character in the movie……

In fact, his main character is pootie’s father (from whom pootie gained his considerable belt-wielding talent).

This movie easily falls into the ‘hilariously awful’ category but is worth watching at least once.

What? No “Shakes The Clown?” You call this a top 10 list of movies you should see but probably haven’t?

2 words… Bobcat Goldthwait.

3 more words… Drunk party clowns.

14 more words… Aunt Esther talking about how she’s “like” peanut butter. Brown, smooth, easy to spread.

No? C’mon!! It was awesome!

And it’s got Tom Kenny, the guy who does the voice of Spongebob as the evil antagonist clown, Binky.

And Julie Brown. And Kathy Griffin. And Adam Sandler. And Robin Williams. And that one guy who’s in most of Adam Sandlers movies as a side character.

Seriously, go rent it.

Idiocracy was the single, most frightening movie I ever saw. My job (gas service rep large utility company) brings me into a lot of homes. About 40 a week. Most are low income homes. Most of these are of a certain nationality that has “traveled” here and turned certain areas of the country into a version of their very crappy country of origin. Most don’t have a high school education. Most have at least 6 kids. Most of those kids don’t get any education. “Idiocracy” will be here in less than 50 years and it will be in Spanish.
